Chapter 2: Self-Care

We've made it to the second month in the year, our Chapter 2. The last post I discussed manifesting goals, and to keeping pushing myself towards what I want in life. ( If you didn't get a chance to read Chapter 1, pause and go give it a read) January was a self-reflective month, I took the time to plan my approach for the upcoming year.

Now with a better mindset on where I want to head, one thing I've realized is my lack of self- care. So, starting this month, I'm taking the time to get myself mentally and physically back on track. First thing I want to do is get back into finding healthier alternatives for food, I find myself snacking all day with foods that give my body no energy to sustain the day. Therefore, leaving me cranky and tired all the time. Another goal for me this month is hopefully getting back in the gym, so I'll start with at home workouts until I find a new gym I like. I have not been in an actual gym in two years, and I miss it.

Furthermore, I will put time aside for me. Whether that's putting on a fresh face mask or a new coat of nail polish. Taking time to indulge in myself when life gets hectic is a must.
