Chapter 7: Gut
Lasts months focus was on being more mindful ( if you haven't had the chance to check out my previous post, give it a read). Each month I have a focus, sometimes it goes as planned sometimes it doesn't. But so is life, and the least you can say, is you tried. As this month comes to an end, I had time to reflect on a lot of things, and know my focus for the upcoming month is to be more in tune with my inner self, and trust my gut. I've had that gut feeling occur way too many times last month where I blocked it out to make sure everything ran smoothly. Without taking into account my emotions. So, as the start to the summer brings the sweltering heat and outing with friends, here's to knowing I can't be a million places at once, and that you can't always please everybody. And the thing about that line is I feel everyone knows that, but sometimes a cycle you thought once broke appears again and you have to find yourself breaking it once more. Overall, here's to trusting my gut and putting my mental health first.
