Chapter 5: Time

Time to oneself, time with loved ones, or time spent planning something far ahead or right around the corner. The thing with time is it waits for no one, and sometimes when things don't go as planned we’re extra hard on ourselves. I wrote a post a couple months ago about self-care. As I've stated before each month is a chapter in our lives, and we either have everything planned out. Or like life, our story becomes rewritten halfway through, and the narrative we wrote is scrapped.But, wouldn't it be so easy if everything went as planned?

That's why the goal I have for myself this month is to be on my time. It falls back into the category of self-care and putting myself first; however, there were a lot of flaws with my first self-care plan. And that was not addressing the problem I had of feeling behind, too far ahead, stuck in the middle, is time running out. And the major problem with my mindset was I was worried about where everyone else was headed, and what time they were on besides my own.

So this month I take a deep breath, focus on me, and invest a portion of the 24 hours we have in a day on MYSELF. Some things will be accomplished in a day and some will not. But, i'll know there's a tomorrow, and my path can go straight, vertical, or do a complete 360. Overall, I'll keep striving for a better me and making memories and learning life lessons with the time that's presented to me.
