Last summer I had an internship located in DUMBO, Brooklyn and I fell in love with the area. Every day before work you could find me sitting on a bench looking at the Brooklyn bridge, early mornings as runners pass me by, parents rushing their kids to summer camp, and movie trailers lining the streets. Walking on the cobblestones that make DUMBO's rustic feel like you're in a world of your own.
Mid-afternoon lunch breaks, tourist taking pictures in front the bridge, veils lifted for beautiful wedding shoots, and me with a slice of pizza under the blistering sun of an NYC summer. ( Fun fact: I once was enjoying my breakfast while in front of the bridge, I look over and see a couple getting married. *insert tears on my bagel* I was low-key part of the wedding) I recommend if you're visiting DUMBO take in the art, food, and of course, find yourself on a bench and immerse yourself in the view.
A year since I've been in DUMBO and will be posting the second part about more things that you can do in the area. But if there are any spots, you would recommend me checking out and reviewing leave a comment below.
